Early bird registration of $400 is available through June 1, 2018. Regular registration is $450 and closes on July 1, 2018. On-campus lodging is available through the registration form. Our Tuesday night activity is visiting the Walker Art Center, with access to some of the galleries, the outdoor sculpture garden (fingers crossed the weather is good!) as well as dinner and drinks. There is no additional cost, and transportation will be provided for all that choose to go.
Remember, each STAFF member institution can register four individuals (1 director and 3 additional staff members). Please contact the conference organizers if you wish to register additional members.
The Conference will begin with our Keynote Address at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16. Registration will open that morning for early arrivals to campus. The Conference will end at lunchtime on Wednesday, July 18.
Please plan your travel so as to arrive in time for the Keynote, and to depart after our morning sessions end on Wednesday so as to provide our break-out presentations the most engagement possible.
Carleton College is in Northfield, MN. Made infamous by the legendary Jesse James Gang bank raid, Northfield is also home to last year’s STAFF Conference host St. Olaf College. Northfield is a 40 mile drive from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), featuring airline hubs for Delta and Sun Country. We recommend either renting a car and driving down, catching a shuttle bus, or using EcoTrans to travel from MSP to Carleton.
On Campus: On-campus housing will be offered at Carleton for $90 total for July 16-18, with an option to stay the evening of Sunday, July 15 for an extra $45. Conference members will stay in air-conditioned town homes, each with a thermostat that can be controlled within the unit.
There are 76 rooms reserved for the conference. Available rooms are either singles or doubles. Teams can request housing together (in the same town home) on a “first come, first served” basis.
